Lord Rama says that-

EGOTISM

- is the worst disease

- is primary cause of mental distress

- spreads the web of family& relationships ,causes misery

- promotes cravings

Then says

IMPURE MIND

-is always dissatisfied

-like a porous strainer which can never be filled with water

-like a lion in cage always restless

-unable to find happiness, enveloped by cravings

Then adds-

CRAVINGS

- overpowers us

- have no direction and no end

- drive us like a mad horse

-make us miserable

-responsible for bondage

BODY

- is home of pain

- subject to old age and death

- is a home of illness

- is a field for mental distress.
